Tiger medicine. Leopard pelts. Armadillo purses. Alligator shoes. Each day, thousands of wild plants and animals are plucked from their natural habitats, converted into these and other products, traded in markets, and shipped across borders.

When the planet had fewer people consuming fewer resources, the use of wildlife for food and other products was sustainable. But not any more. With demand high and many wildlife populations shrinking, wildlife trade is pushing many species to the brink of extinction. Do you make wildlife purchases? The answer may surprise you!
