What’s a Zoo to Doo?

Did you ever wonder what keepers do with all the manure that collects in a zoo? (After all, just one elephant dropping can weigh up to 10 pounds!) One enterprising Memphis company produces ZooDoo©, premium organic compost made from zoo manure. The compost comes in a variety of forms—loose in a 15-pound bucket or molded into “statues” that slowly decompose into house plants or garden soil. And, like all good compost, the only scent is the rich aroma of highly nutritious earth. To find out more about ZooDoo©, visit the company’s Web site at www.zoodoo.com. By trying some of the ZooDoo© compost, you can find out for yourself one of the reasons why natural habitats can be so lush!
